Summer Day Camp 2020

Summer Camp 2020 is Not Cancelled at KHCC!

We are still planning to run a Day Camp Program for Summer 2020 for families who are in need of childcare as parents hesitantly venture back to work. We will be diligent in adhering to the mandated guidelines as prescribed by the New York City Department of Health and the National Center for Disease Control (CDC). 

This year’s camp will look different, with less overall campers, a higher staff to camper ratio, less far distance travel, and more local trips with groups alternating days and times in and outside the center’s main building. 

Here's what else you should know about Summer 2020:

• We're following the experts: our staff will be diligent in adhering to the mandated guidelines as prescribed by the New York City Department of Health and the National Center for Disease Control (CDC). 
• This year’s camp will be smaller: we will have less overall campers, a higher staff to camper ratio, less far distance travel, and more local trips with groups alternating days and times in and outside the center’s main building. 
• We're committed to keeping everyone healthy: we expect to run Summer Day Camp with the observation of best practices for daily cleaning, building-wide disinfecting, and social distancing. We will spread groups out more on and off our property, doing health checks upon arrival, providing masks for our staff and participants, modifying some activities for size, and rigorous end of day cleaning procedures. 

 Our Summer Day Camp will still offer children in grades K-8 a meaningful summer vacation full of fun, excitement, and positive relationships led by caring adults who serve as mentors and role models.

FOR GRADES K-5:

$650 per session + $75 registration

Session One (July 1 - July 24, 2020)

Session Two (July 27 - August 21, 2020)

FOR GRADES 6-8:

$300 per session + $75 registration

Session One (July 1 - July 24, 2020)

Session Two (July 27 - August 21, 2020)
