Special Needs Program

Do you know someone with a developmental or intellectual disability, autism, or down syndrome? We provide a fun and caring environment and structured opportunities for learning, growth, and socializing with peers. Children and adults with special needs require a special kind of care. We offer free programs that provide such care while giving respite to working parents living in the Bronx.

Our Special Needs After School Program offers young people age 5-21:

• Best Buddies
• Homework Help and Tutoring
• Adapted Physical Education
• Music and Dance
• Games
  
• Arts and Crafts
• Gardening and nutrition
• Computer Literacy
• Snack and dinner are included!

Our Saturday and Sunday Programs serve teens and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.. We invite participants on recreational trips to community venues, allowing them to engage with the world outside the center.
