Our Adult English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program enables participants to improve their reading, writing, and speaking English skills with incorporated civic education to allow students to function more effectively as parents, workers and community members, and advocate for themselves in their new environment. KHCC staff are multilingual, speaking the most common languages in the area: English, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Arabic, Albanian and African dialects. Just as participants come from a wide variety of backgrounds, so do our staff.

Adult ESOL teaches over 300 adults annually.

Students will develop their:

Vocabulary and Grammar

Reading and Listening Comprehension

Speaking and Pronunciation

Writing
