The blueprint to how we love begins with our earliest interactions with our caretakers. Love has many different meanings and constructs for us all. But one thing we do know is that LOVE shouldn't inflict any kind of emotional, mental, or physical pain. In some cases, our caretakers are going through their own unresolved trauma and conflict from their childhood; the generational habits and patterns are passed down to children resulting in a never-ending cycle of abuse. It is our job to protect the youth and provide them with the tools necessary to make informed decisions, especially when it comes to relationships.
The Changing Futures Program is offering a 10-week cycle for teens. Teens will learn about what caring relationships look like, what dating abuse is, communication skills, interpreting their own emotions, and gain insight into their own family dynamics.
February 12th @6pm via Zoom
We would like to extend the invitation to you all and if you think your or someone else's teen could benefit! Those who complete the cycle will receive a $25 gift card!
