The University of Adelaide North East USA Alumni Network would like to invite you, your friends and family to the Great Aussie BBQ in New York, to celebrate the start of Fall. This is a chance to socialize and network with other alumni from the University of Adelaide, Australian expats, and New York professionals, and to contribute to the Kingsbridge Heights Community Center.We will be raising funds to purchase a new van to support KHCC participants! Without safe, affordable transportation, programs will be severely impacted, affecting thousands of lives.
KHCC picks up K-5 children daily from school to bring them to KHCC safely for after school homework, STEM programming, arts, physical fitness and a home-cooked dinner. The Special Needs Program relies on KHCC vans to transport them home safely throughout the Bronx. College-bound teens also rely on the vans to travel throughout the East Coast to explore college campuses so they can make the best choice for school after graduation.
